Intro to MeshTools

MeshTools is a package of procedural modelling and animation tools that gives you artistic control over scene geometry and spline generation. Every effect is non-destructive: stack and layer MeshTools objects in a hierarchy, adjust any parameter at any point and the changes propagate through the entire system without losing your base geometry.
What MeshTools can do
Section titled “What MeshTools can do”MeshTools works by placing generator objects as parents of your source geometry. Effects can be driven by Cinema 4D fields, shaders, vertex selections and textures; every parameter is keyframe-animatable.
- Mesh manipulation: inset, fold, scale, subdivide and remesh polygons procedurally
- Boolean & fracturing: complex fractal geometry with mtFractal (Dragon, Fern, Koch, Sphere, Tree)
- Spline generation: generate wireframe, outline and contour splines from any mesh
- Geometry projection: project points and geometry onto surfaces with mtPointProject and mtRayline
- Animation tools: drive growth, rolling and flowing effects from splines and fields
- Layered hierarchies: combine multiple MeshTools objects for complex, fully live effects
