tfAdjustment

tfAdjustment offsets and/or scales a height field along the Y-axis.

This can be used to make global adjustments to the deformation of complex terrain hierarchies.

tfAdjustment_top_image.png

Terrains as a child of tfAdjustment with Gain settings of 100% and 150% respectively.

This adjusts the terrain deformation on a global level.

At 100% gain, the terrain will look no different.

tfAdjustment_Gain_03.png

Gain set at 100% on both terrains.

tfAdjustment_Gain_02.png

Gain set at 50% on the right.

tfAdjustment_Gain_01.png

Gain set at 150% on the right terrain.

This will move the whole terrain up or down (on the Y-axis), without changing the scale of the values.

tfAdjustment_offset_01.png

In this image, the right-hand terrain is offset at -100cm, lowering it on the Y-axis.

tfAdjustment_offset_02.png

Here, the right-hand terrain is offset at 100cm, raising it.

By default, Offset works in ‘world’ units.

Enable this option to work in relation to the terrain’s overall altitude range.
