Jidou

Jidou is a collection of automated animation and rigging tools for Cinema 4D, covering procedural camera motion, object animation and a driver system for connecting any Cinema 4D parameter to a procedural signal.
What Jidou can do
Section titled “What Jidou can do”Jidou’s tools work independently and in combination. Use jdDriver to connect scene parameters to procedural signals, then combine with jdAniMate for start-to-end point animation, jdFlowCam for camera path motion or jdGeoRoll for surface-accurate rolling.
- jdDriver: drive any Cinema 4D parameter using preset signals including Noise, Wave, Value, Time, Color and Switch, plus three utility drivers: Sequencer, Folder and Merge
- jdAniMate: translate and interpolate an object’s PSR between stored start and end points, with a timing spline to control the motion over time
- jdFlowCam: move a camera smoothly through a sequence of CamPoints using a weighted timing system, with controls for easing, spring and focal length per point
- jdGeoFlow: move objects along a path defined by FlowPoints or a preset spline, with options for deformation, easing and loop modes
- jdGeoRoll: roll objects across collider surfaces using a handle-based control system that calculates contact and rotation automatically
